Give The Gift Of A Red Hill Winery Experience

Mother’s day is approaching and it’s time to get serious about presents! This year I’ve made a conscious effort to spoil my mum on the special day. She deserves it! I wanted to get her something different, something special and something she could experience and enjoy. The Lancemore Group has properties in Victoria with stunning accommodation, beautiful wineries and restaurants and luxurious spas.

They also specialise in offering amazing wedding locations in Victoria (will keep that in mind-idea!)

So I have decided to spoil my mum this year with a voucher for a Red Hill winery! I thought – why not. She will love it. She can make a whole weekend out of it. Enjoy the wine, dine, relax in the spa and even stay the weekend – she so deserves it!

Red Hill is a gorgeous part of Victoria, and so accessible from Melbourne. I absolutely love the area, it offers so much. The best part of this present idea is that I can give this gift and she can use it whenever she feels she needs a weekend away, a bit of relaxation and spoiling.

The wineries in Victoria are some of the very best in Australia. They are picturesque and a gorgeous place to spend the day, the weekend or a week or two.

wineries-victoriaI’ve visited Lancemore’s Red Hill winery before and I’ve eaten in their restaurant, and I can tell you – it is AMAZING. Seriously beautiful, picturesque surrounds, with amazing wine and food. The staff are also really friendly and attentive, so the entire time you’re there, you feel spoilt! It’s such a lovely day out. So I’ve chosen this for a present for mum.

What a special day – a day dedicated to mothers and grandmothers. A day to celebrate, to thank and to remind them how much we truly love and appreciate them. I think it’s an important, very special and fun day. A day we should relax and be happy and thankful with our families.

So what are you getting your mum this Mother’s Day? A voucher for a winery? I am! Let me know if you have any other great ideas – let’s share them around and give an interesting and unique gift this year!

Spoil Your Mum With Memories

Mother’s day is now just over a month away. Don’t leave it till the last minute this year, think of something special and something your mum will love. Not just the usual last minute finds! Especially in today’s online shopping world, there really is no excuse for a boring present!
I think mother’s day is a great day- a special day to say thanks and to show your appreciation to your mum. All the wonderful things they do for us, day in, day out, when we’re young and when we’re older. You know you can always call on your mum for absolutely anything you need. What a special connection a mum and a child has.

So this year – I’m putting it out there, I’m searching high and low for interesting gifts, both products and experiences, that I can give to mum for her to enjoy.

First idea is a Melbourne photographer. She shoots kids and family shots, she does food and commercial and she specialises as a wedding photographer. My idea is to book a session with Niki Photography and we, as a family, will take mum and surprise her with a photo shoot. It will be a fun day for us all, and we will have something to take home and remember that day forever!

I’ve spoken to the wonderful lady who runs this company, and she was more than happy to discuss prices and ideas so we could work together and enjoy the day. She thought it was a great gift idea too. I looked into other photographers in Melbourne, let’s just say there are a more than a few to choose from, but I really liked speaking with Niki. She was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. Yet her work is very creative, fun, bright and best of all, very natural.

I don’t want mum to feel uncomfortable or nervous on the day, so it was important that the photographer is friendly, patient and personable to make us all feel at ease. It is supposed to be just a bit of fun, after all!

After looking through her website, and speaking with her on the phone, I’m so excited to give this to mum for Mothers day. I think she will love the idea, and also the thought that has gone into it.
